The time has come to embark on the first round of discussions around the roll-out of elected official progress reports. Many candidates that secure the PA endorsement and currently serve in office do not have set progress benchmarks whereby we might gain deeper insight into commitments kept. The question before us now is building out a formal mechanism to track the level of consistency between what those in power do and say at election time, and what they do the rest of the year. Join us as we begin to think through the framework of quarterly elected official progress reports and briefly delve into the ‘Humans of Durham’ Audit logistics, Expanded Housing Choices, and the Housing Bond Referendum.
