Protecting the information of the people in our movement for justice is a requirement of our community organizing at the People’s Alliance (PA). All information concerning PA members, staff, donors, other financial data, and other records are confidential, including but not limited to the information stored in PA’s NationBuilder, ThruText, Google Drive, or Gmail accounts. “Confidential” means no staff or members are permitted to download or share this information for any purpose other than community organizing activities conducted for PA by PA staff and members. This information will not be sold or shared under any circumstances. Additionally, no information may be released to any organizations, including ally organizations or any other entities, without the written consent of the Lead Coordinator of the PA. 

Failure to maintain confidentiality may result in a ban from the PA community, removal of access to PA’s NationBuilder account, ThruText account, Google Drive, email, or other corrective action as-needed. This policy is intended to protect the entire PA community. 

SMS Opt-Out: If you are receiving text messages from us and wish to stop receiving them, simply respond with either “STOP” or “UNSUBSCRIBE” to the number from which you received the message. Once we receive your message, you will no longer receive further text messages from us.

Email Opt-Out: If you are receiving emails from us and wish to stop receiving them, click on the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email from which you received the message and you will no longer receive further emails from us.
