At our May meeting, we’ll be talking about: 1) a deeper dive into a Green New Deal for Durham, where this concept stands following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, and what role our team can play in larger discussions about a Green New Deal in Durham, 2) update on budget advocacy with city and county elected officials, including on-going efforts to advocate for property tax assistance in Durham, and 3) updates on other team priorities. All are welcome to attend and participate (including non-PA members)!
