Voter ID Action Team Meeting

PA is forming an action team to pull in partners and build a strong coalition to make sure the public is educated on new voter ID requirements, to ensure voter ID's are easy to obtain and to protect early voting.

Join us at our first community collaboration meeting as we come together and continue the grassroots work of our predecessors of ensuring the right to vote.

Economic Inequality Action Team

As discussed at our economic inequality forum, poverty is a crisis and we cannot turn a blind eye like so many current lawmakers do. North Carolina ranks 45th in the National Assets and Opportunities scorecard. The legislation coming out of Raleigh looks to push us even further down the line.

People's Alliance is forming an Economic Inequality Action Team to discuss work we can do here in Durham to begin reversing this trend. All interested PA members are welcome to join this initial work-group meeting as we begin to plan our action, collaboration and efforts.
