Michael works for United for a Fair Economy, and coordinates the Inclusive Economy Network -- a project that works with grassroots organizations and policy organizations around the country that are working to build a fair economy at local and statewide levels through fair taxes and progressive policies.

Prior to joining UFE, he organized for safe, secure and affordable mortgages and housing for low-moderate income residents in Massachusetts, and ensuring banks were fulfilling their Community Reinvestment responsibilities, and communities were providing affordable housing to their residents.

Michael is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Boston with a B.A. in Urban Studies. He is a native of Cary, NC and now lives in Durham, North Carolina with his wife Jennifer and two beautiful children.
