Gann believes in the power of PA to influence city and county policy for the good of all Durham’s residents and wants to be a part of using that citizen power for justice and love.  Her years in Southern Africa fighting against apartheid opened her eyes to all the racial and class injustices here, so she feels she can’t be silent and passive.  An active member of the Raging Grannies as well as PA, Gann is retired and enjoys outings with her grandchildren.
