-Where Does it Go? Where Should it Go?
The first
PA membership meeting of 2010 will feature staff from the Durham City
and County budget office, discussing planned expenditures for 2010-11,
issues that will affect us all (but some more than others?) and how we
can impact the budgeting process. Here are some ideas of items PA can
push for:

Including
yard waste program into the tax base
·
Adding a
half-cent/a one cent to tax base for housing for homeless/low income
citizens
- Increasing water capacity
of water reservoirs

Repair
deteriorating pipe infrastructure
