The Durham People’s Alliance, with co-hosts the Headwaters Group of the Sierra Club, Greenway Transit, and Southern High School PTA, presents the May 2016 Progressive Issues Forum. Guest speakers will address the growing movement of teachers, students and parents calling for a shift from dirty fossil fuels to cleaner, cheaper, renewable energy in our schools and communities, and how to integrate sustainability into teaching.
