Join us in working for a progressive Durham

Are you ready to get involved, or more involved, in an exciting active progressive organization? We’ve been working towards a progressive Durham since 1975, but it’s the constant influx of new energy that keeps our work fresh.

If you haven’t joined yet, please consider all the benefits, here are a few membership perks:

  • The opportunity to be a part of Durham’s liberal political landscape.
  • Regular occasions to connect with other open-minded people through book clubs, quarterly membership meetings, forums and other PA committees related to making Durham a better place to live.
  • The PA Newsletter which informs members about what PA members have been doing, progress on local issues and reminders of meetings and events.
  • The monthly electronic newsletter (e-mail) which includes local activist events, progressive arts and music, community festivals, PA & election information and other inspiring things that make life in the Triangle interesting.
  • The annual PA Members’ Progressive Directory which includes organizations that are dedicated to service, activism and/or enrichment for the Durham area.
  • The opportunity to help decide PA-PAC’s candidate endorsements. These endorsements significantly influence elections in Durham.

Individual membership is $35.
Family membership is $50.
